Pandas

A very special request was made for a panda drawing. I'm hoping this will do. It's not very big, but it was a lot easier - and a lot quicker - to do it small this way. About 5"x7"

Traveling Salesmen

We had just got back from Peter Piper Pizza and these two questionable young men came by trying to sell us something. We had a hard time figuring out exactly what they were about. Looked like they were trying to hide something. Shady characters at best...
Turns out they were looking to unload some slightly used lollipops. Needless to say, we declined.

My Birthday Mailbox!

Well, Happy Birthday to rock & roll legend, Alice Cooper, who just happened to turn 60 on my 46th birthday on Feb 4. He is an Arizona native and I did e-mail him (he's a night-time DJ on a local radio station - I think his show is aired nationwide) and invite him to visit my art exhibit and/or to stop by this blog if he wanted. He probably never got to the e-mail, but you never know.

The next morning Karen decides to give me an unexpected 'gift.' The mailbox wasn't in the greatest shape after the guys from Cox Cable knowcked it down a couple years ago, but it was good enough until Tuesday. Can't have that shabby thing bringing down our home values anymore, so it was off to the store for another. Please avert your eyes from the weeds. When we get our winter rains the weeds are almost impossible to hold back.

And here's my new birthday mailbox. Quite a nice gift, really.

A Butterfly From SeaWorld

I always try to take lots and lots of pictures whenever I go anywhere. Who knows when one will strike my fancy to draw. I did this little guy (5"x7") over the last couple weeks. The usual pen & ink stippled.

Inside Window

OK, here's the inside part of the window now. Still need to mud, texture and paint, but we have a split-level or rather split-seat toy chest now.
