Having a fire and roasting marshmallows was a real treat for the boys. Here's Kurt, Jennifer, Doris and Erik having a go at it. Erik discovered that marshmallows do burn (but don't taste the greatest that way). 
They had a little party for Brian pictured here with his Grandma, my Aunt Pat. Brian had just graduated 8th grade and is more than ready for highschool. It was really fun to see my cousins and aunt again. We used to spend many holidays together growing up.
Cousin Wayne kept the boys busy for a while.
Cousin Kari kept busy taking pictures (she's the one with long hair taking a picture).
