Sorry to interrupt the vacation...just took these last night and had to share...
OK, does this look hot?? It was 104 at 8 p.m. so yeah it was a bit hotter when the sun was still up. The sky is orange because of smoke in the air from nearby fires.
A little storm rolled in late last night and I stood there trying to get a picture of lightning. At 1/8 second it isn't easy. I missed some awesome lightning but managed to capture this one. Good thing I could just keep trying with digital...Though print film probably gets a better image. Met a lady taking pictures of the lightning, too. She probably got some better images, its a bit more than a hobby for her. Now there's some good lightning shots!
